B&S provides superior and differentiated products able to meet different customers’ demand.

In Kongo Central Bags&Sacks is producing block–bottom cements sacks for the local cements factories. Furthermore, agricultural sacks are produced for both the Kongo Central and Kinshasa market for products such as maize flour, sugar, and other commodities.

In the Haut–Katanga province, Bags&Sacks produces three products:

Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container (FIBC) for the mining industry
Block-bottom sacks for cement factories
Agricultural sacks for the agricultural industry

Bags&Sacks (“B&S” or the “Company”) is the leading manufacturer of woven polypropylene bags in the DRC with two plants in the country, one in Kimpese (Kongo Centrale) and one in Lubumbashi (Haute Katanga).
The Company has invested USS$15M to launch its first factory in the Kongo Central province in May 2022. The company generates of 12$m a year in sales and currently employs over 250 employees.

B&S Katanga is the first Bulk Bag manufacturing plant in the country with an investment of over $20 million US and with an installed capacity of 2 million bags per annum, enough to satisfy over 70% of the country’s bulk bag demand. The company currently employs 200 employees and will be scaling up to over 400 employees in the near future.
